Welcome to the information page about the reorganization process for Mount Desert Island Regional School System-AOS 91. Here, you will find information about the history of the journey to becoming a regional school system and the work the Reorganization Planning Committee completes at its monthly meetings.

The current reorganization process started in 2022 and continues with the Reorganization Planning Committee (RPC) meeting monthly to work through the steps set forth by the state to become an RSU.

Once the plan is completed, community forums will be held in each town to review the plan and ask questions.
